MINUTES OF TIIE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 14, 2006 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 14th day of <br />June, 2006 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Biesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Biesener <br />Council Member Ms. Barb Allan <br />Council Member Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />City Engineer Mr. Lee Elfering <br />Cable TV Producer Mr. Brandon Rickert <br />City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006 -6 -131— APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE MAY 24, 2006 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />PUBLIC Mayor Biesener opened the Continuation of Public Hearing relative <br />HEARING — to increases in the City's On -Sale Liquor and On -Sale Wine License <br />ON -SALE fees. Biesener reviewed staff's report which outlines previous <br />LIQUOR discussion of tying increases in these license fees to the City's gross <br />AND levy increase. The gross levy increase for 2006 was 2.54 %, therefore, <br />ON -SALE the proposed license fee increase is as follows: <br />WINE <br />LICENSES <br />3 <br />
