Hanson <br />For the past several years the City has partnered with the City of Vadnais Heights on <br />crack sealing of city streets. Vadnais Heights takes care of obtaining quotes and lining up <br />the contractor for the work. This year we have about 25,000 linear feet of road to crack <br />seal. Quotes were received from 3 companies: Allied Blacktop, Inc. at $1.79 per lb., <br />Fahrner Asphalt Sealers at $1.28 per lb., and Northwest Asphalt Maintenance, Inc. at <br />$0.98 per lb. It is the recommendation of Vadnais Heights and Little Canada staff that <br />the Council approve the quote from Northwest Asphalt Maintenance, Inc. of $0.98 per lb. <br />Northwest Asphalt did the crack sealing in the City last year and several other years. <br />They have always done acceptable work and are familiar with the City. A list of the <br />streets to be sealed has been included. <br />
