City of Little Canada, Minnesota <br />Ordinance No. 646 (Summary) <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 902 AND 914 OF THE LITTLE CANADA <br />CITY CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY PROVIDING FOR A <br />REVISION TO THEM, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AND RELATED DEFINITIONS. <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: <br />Section 1 deletes the entire existing text of Chapter 914. <br />Section 2 substitutes a new Chapter 914, stating the purpose, permitted uses, permitted accessory <br />uses, conditional uses, interim uses, lot requirements and setbacks, and building requirements for <br />land zoned I -1 Light Industrial within the City of Little Canada. The new Chapter 914 changes <br />"automobile major repair" from a permitted use to a conditional use, and divides the category <br />into "major automobile repair," "salvage vehicle repair," and "minor automobile repair." The <br />new Chapter 914 expands the requirements for a conditional use permit for outdoor storage <br />within the district, and makes "off- site" outdoor storage an interim use. The new Chapter 914 <br />includes building requirements for structures within the district. <br />Section 3 amends the definition of "Outdoor Storage" under Chapter 902.010.A of the City <br />Code. <br />Section 4 adds a definition for "Outdoor Storage — Off -Site" to Chapter 902.010.A of the City <br />Code. <br />Section 5 adds a definition for "Salvage Vehicle Repair" to Chapter 902.010.A of the City Code. <br />Section 6 amends the definition for "Hazardous Materials" in Chapter 902.010.A of the City <br />Code. <br />Section 7 states that the Ordinance takes effect upon publication. <br />A full copy of Ordinance No. 644 is available for inspection by any person at the Little Canada <br />City Hall, 515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 during regular business hours. <br />Copies are also available by mail by contacting the City Clerk at the above address. <br />Attest: <br />William Blesener, Mayor <br />Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />Adopted this 14`x' day of May, 2008. <br />2 <br />
