CHANGE ORDER #1 <br />(Attachment) <br />This contract is amended as follows: <br />WHEREAS: It was determined by the Engineer that the existing car wash facility was <br />constructed of block filled with vermiculite which will require additional time and <br />disposal costs due to its hazardous nature; and <br />WHEREAS: It would be necessary and more cost effective to remove the structure and <br />vermiculite as a whole with the demolition Contractor working jointly with an <br />abatement subcontractor. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED AND UNDERSTOOD THAT: <br />1. The Contractor shall complete the above described changes and additions to the project. <br />2. Payment for the work was reviewed and approved by the Engineer. <br />3. The Contractor will not make claim of any kind or character for any other costs or <br />expenses that he may have incurred or that he may hereafter incur in performing the <br />work or furnishing the materials of this agreement. <br />3 <br />
