There reports were compiled
by the City of Little Canada Deputy Fire Marshal, Building Official, and Electrical
Inspector. These reports were generated from inspections conducted at the property on
January 8 and January 26, 2007.
For the violations noted in the Fire Inspection Report, Evaluation/Damage Report, and
the letter prepared by the Electrical Inspector, the City has set a deadline of 90 days from
the date of this letter to apply for the required permits necessary to correct the violations.
With these permits, the City will require construction documents with the signature of a
licensed design professional to ensure the structural design of the building is being
upheld and codes are being addressed. Once the required permits are approved, the City
will be looking for a timely completion of the necessary corrections. No building,
electrical, or mechanical work should be started without prior approval.
As for the attached Imminent Hazards /Correction Order, the City will be moving forward
with the Hazardous Building Statue to resolve those violations. The Hazardous
Correction Order will be before the City Council on February 14, 2007.
7
