CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION VACATING ROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City Council of Little Canada has determined to vacate the following road right -of- <br />way according to the law: <br />The 16 feet of right -of -way lying between Lot 11, Block 1, Mason Manor on the <br />north and Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block 2, Charles W. Brown Addition on the south. <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />A public hearing was held on April 11, 2007 before the City Council in the City Center <br />after due published and posted notice had been given by the City Administrator, a <br />reasonable attempt was made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and <br />all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Any person, corporation, or city owning or controlling easements contained upon the <br />property vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon <br />such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove, store or <br />otherwise attend thereto; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />It appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to vacate such road right -of -way; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that such petition is hereby granted and the <br />road right -of -way described as follows is hereby vacated: <br />
