�«IN( -..f OCIIIT.LS <br />February 22, 2007 <br />File No. 120059E -0071 <br />Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 Little Canada Road E. <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 -1633 <br />RE: 2006 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br />CHANGE ORDER #3 <br />Dear Council Members: <br />During the course of the above referenced project the Contractor was directed to <br />complete extra work due to conditions that arose in the field and for the safety of the <br />public. The extra work was completed on a time and material basis for which the <br />Contractor has recently supplied documentation of costs. This extra work was not <br />included within the original bid and is to be covered by the issuance of Change Order #3. <br />The attachment to Change Order #3 outlines the additional work completed. In general, <br />most of the items were related to repairs or modifications of existing utilities that were <br />necessary due to underground issues that were encountered during construction. These <br />change order issues were unforeseen during the design and bidding process. <br />The total cost for the above described extra work is $13,099.45 and a summary of the <br />individual item costs are attached.
