CHANGE ORDER #2 <br />(Attachment) <br />This contract is amended as follows: <br />WHEREAS: This Contract provides for, among other things, watermain installation, sanitary <br />sewer repair, common excavation, aggregate base, concrete work, and <br />bituminous surfacing, striping; and <br />WHEREAS: It was determined upon excavation for the retaining wall along Noel Drive that <br />insulation of the water tower lead was necessary due to diminished cover; and <br />WHEREAS: It was determined that in addition to temporary lane striping on County Road B2, <br />temporary arrows should also be used for safe traffic movement due to the <br />change in lane configuration; and <br />WHEREAS: It was determined that metal clean out covers should be provided for curb stops <br />within concrete driveways; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that it would of benefit the public that the revisions <br />above were necessary and should be accomplished during the project to provide <br />for the safety of the public and to ensure additional costs would not be accrued in <br />the future. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED AND UNDERSTOOD THAT: <br />1. The Contractor completed the above described changes and additions to the project. <br />2. Payment for the work was reviewed and approved by the Engineer. <br />3. The Contractor will not make claim of any kind or character for any other costs or <br />expenses that he may have incurred or that he may hereafter incur in performing the <br />work or furnishing the materials of this agreement. <br />
