Hanson <br />www. ci.little- canada. mn. us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Blesener & Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: November 18, 2011 <br />RE: Authorize Deer Hunting on Frattalone Company Property <br />Frank Frattalone has inquired as to the possibility of hunting his property that borders the south end of <br />Blacictern Pond (see map attached). There is about 13 acres of land although most of it is pretty open. <br />By adding this area, we may be addressing some of the deer on the waterworks right -of -way that impact <br />the west side of the City. <br />Mr. Frattalone would be subject to the attached hunt rules that mirror the rules in place for Metro <br />Bowhunters Resource Base and the Sculleys. Approval of this hunt would be for the remainder of the <br />archery season (12/31/11) and would be on a trial basis with no guarantee for continuation. <br />Staff recommends approval of the additional hunt area subject to the attached rules. <br />1 <br />
