Final Comments
I am not opposed to the rezoning of the property for the development of PHASE ONE,
including the revised parking lot design. I do not think the build out of PHASE TWO meets
the intentions of the City's zoning code (see above comments). St. Jude Medical has
previously proposed developing buildings on the Lillihei campus. If their business grows as
anticipated, they have the option of building there. The architect mentioned this would be
more inconvenient. My question is for whom? The proposed building sites on Lillihei campus
are far from the wetland area, still leaves open space for trees and grass, and has not direct
neighbors.
The other option is for St. Jude Medical to build a smaller PHASE TWO building, again for
the previously stated reasons; water drainage, water pressure, traffic congestions, privacy,
etc.
Resp- tfully submitted,
Heather Lindber
3
