Hanson <br />Roy French, 2988 Edgerton Street, has amended his plan for additional garage space on <br />his property. The new plan is attached. It includes retaining the existing garage and <br />building a second garage behind his home. Total garage space under this scenario would <br />be 1,488 square feet consisting of 480 square for the existing garage, and 1,008 square <br />feet for the second garage. There is no driveway planned to the new garage. <br />As you are aware, the previous plan that was approved by the Council included the <br />renovation of the existing garage space into livable area, and construction of a 1,500 <br />square foot garage behind his home. This plan also included a new driveway crossing the <br />front yard, wrapping around the north side of the house and over to the new garage at the <br />south edge of the lot. <br />Staff would recommend that the Council move to reconsider the Conditional Use Permit <br />for Mr. French's garage, and act on the revised proposal as submitted by Mr. French. <br />
