EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered this day of , 2007, by <br />and between the City of Little Canada, a Municipal Corporation under the laws of the State of <br />Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as "City", and Joel Hanson Westerhaus, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Hanson ". <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City has employed Hanson as its City Administrator since December 11, <br />1989; and <br />WHEREAS, an Employment Agreement has governed this relationship since Hanson's <br />hiring. and <br />WHEREAS, certain conditions have changed over the years that requires this agreement to be <br />updated in order to reflect the current relationship as well as governing continuing employment; and <br />WHEREAS, both parties desire to continue and redefine the terms of this employment <br />relationship: <br />WHEREAS this new agreement will replace all previous agreements governing said <br />relationship; <br />IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. POSITION. The City of Little Canada agrees to employ Hanson as its City Administrator. <br />Hanson agrees to serve as the City Administrator for Little Canada, will devote his full <br />business time and best efforts to the City of Little Canada, and will engage in no outside <br />business. Hanson agrees to perform the duties of City Administrator as set out in Little <br />Canada City Ordinances and policies as they are now in effect and as they may be amended <br />2 <br />
