9. Any sign now or hereafter existing which no longer advertises or identifies a <br />bonafide business conducted, or a service rendered, or a product sold, shall be removed by the <br />owner, agent, or person having the beneficial use and /or control of the building or structure upon <br />which the sign may be found within ten (10) days after written notice from the Zoning <br />Administrator. <br />10. Window Signs (Commercial and Industrial Districts Only). <br />a. Except as provided below, in no event shall the size of the interior <br />window signage exceed thirty -three (33) percent of the entire window area of the one side of the <br />building upon which said signs shall be displayed. <br />b. In the case of a shopping center or where there are two (2) or more <br />business uses, window signage shall be limited to not more than fifty (50) square feet per <br />business. <br />c. Window signs with areas in excess of that permitted and provided for <br />herein are prohibited subject to the provisions of Section 903.110.C.4. relating to temporary <br />signs. <br />d. Notwithstanding anything else contained in this section to the contrary, <br />in no event shall the total area of all signage, including window signs, exceed the maximum <br />provided for in Section E. 4 (a) and 5 (a). <br />11. "Grand Opening" temporary sign permits announcing the opening of a new <br />business shall not exceed thrce (3) signs consisting of a combination of portable signs, banners, <br />be a portable sign as defined as temporary under Section 903.110.C.4. Display of said signs shall <br />interferes with the use of adjacent property or constitutes a danger to public health, welfare or <br />well being. <br />12. Temporary Outdoor Sales Events as provided for in Little Canada Municipal <br />Code Chapter 819. Permits for allowable signage shall be subject to the same fees as provided <br />for in 903.110.C.4.d. <br />D. Non - Conforming Signs. <br />1. The following are non - conforming signs: <br />a. Prohibited signs. <br />b. All other signs not prohibited that do not conform to the provisions of <br />this Ordinance. <br />c. Billboards and advertising signs. <br />2. Any sign identifying a business no longer in existence shall be brought into <br />conformance within thirty (30) days. <br />3. All non - conforming and prohibited signs created by this Ordinance shall be <br />removed or brought into conformity with this Ordinance within the following time period. <br />a. Any sign in violation of prohibited signs: One (1) year. <br />a. All other non - conforming signs: Five (5) years from the date of the <br />enactment of this Ordinance. <br />4. A non - conforming sign may not be: <br />a. Changed to another non - conforming sign. <br />b. Structurally altered except to bring into compliance with the provisions <br />of this Ordinance. <br />
