RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 2012-04 <br />SYLVAN STREET (County Road C to the south cul -de -sac) <br />WHEREAS, <br />A feasibility report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the <br />improvement of Sylvan Street (County Road C to the south cul -de -sac) by mill and <br />overlay of bituminous road surface as well as concrete curb and gutter repair and /or <br />replacement. This report was received by the Council on December 21, 2011, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />The report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, <br />cost - effective, and feasible. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-IE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE <br />CANADA, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of Sylvan Street in accordance with <br />the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost to the <br />City of Little Canada of $85,500.00 <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the day of <br />January, 2012, in the Council Chambers of the City Center at 7:30 P.M. and the City <br />Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br />Adopted by the Council this 2I st day of December, 2011, <br />Joel R.
