902. DEFINITIONS <br />902.010. APPLICATION. <br />A. The following words and terms, wherever they occur in this Ordinance, shall be <br />interpreted as herein defined: <br />1. Accessory Structure. A subordinate structure detached from but located on the <br />same lot as the principal building, the use of which is incidental and accessory to <br />that of the principal building. <br />2. Accessory Use. A use that: <br />a) Is clearly incidental to and customarily found in connection with a principal <br />building or use. <br />b) Is subordinate to and serves a principal building or use. <br />c) Is subordinate in area, extent, or purpose to the principal building or use served. <br />d) Contributes to the comfort, convenience, or necessity of occupants, business, or <br />industry in the principal building or use served. <br />e) Is located on the same lot as the principal building or use served. <br />f) May be located within either the principal building or an accessory structure. <br />3. Agriculture. The use of land for agricultural purposes, including farming, <br />dairying, pasturage agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, viticulture and- -I <br />and the necessary accessory uses for packing, treating or <br />storing the produce, provided, however, that the operation of any such accessory <br />uses shall be secondary to that of the normal agriculture activities. <br />4. Alley. A public right -of -way less than thirty (30) feet in width which affords <br />secondary access to abutting property. <br />5. Antenna- Commercial. Any equipment, except that as defined as a tower, used for <br />transmitting or receiving electro- magnetic waves including but not limited to <br />telecommunication, television or radio signals, and which is erected for the <br />commercial use of the information. Commercial antennas shall only be allowed as <br />accessory uses. <br />6. Antenna- Private. Any equipment used for transmitting or receiving electro- <br />magnetic waves including but not limited to telecommunication, television or <br />radio signals and which is erected for the non - commercial use of the information. <br />Any such use is considered a permitted accessory use to the principal use in any <br />Zoning District. <br />7. Apartment. A room or suite of rooms which is designed for, intended for, or <br />occupied as a residence by a single family or an individual, and is equipped with <br />cooking facilities. Includes dwelling unit and efficiency unit. <br />902 -1 <br />.34- <br />
