903.050. OFF - STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS. <br />A. Purpose. The purpose of the off - street parking regulations is to alleviate or prevent <br />congestion of the public right -of -way and to promote the safety and general welfare of the <br />public, by establishing minimum requirements for off - street parking of motor vehicles in <br />accordance with the utilization of various parcels of land or structures. <br />B. Application of Off - Street Parking Regulations. The regulations and requirements set <br />forth herein shall apply to all off - street parking facilities in all of the zoning districts of the City. <br />C. Site Plan Drawing Necessary. See Figure 903 -4. All applications for a building or an <br />occupancy permit in all zoning districts shall be accompanied by a site plan drawn to scale and <br />dimensioned indicating the location of off - street parking and loading spaces in compliance with <br />the requirements set forth in this subdivision and Section 903.020.D of this Ordinance. No <br />permit shall be issued for the construction of more than one (1) pnvate garage structure for each <br />detached single family dwelling except on the approval of a conditional use permit according to <br />the provisions of Section 921 of this Ordinance.; Every detached single family dwelling unit <br />erected after the effective date of this Ordinance shall be so located on the lot so that at least a <br />two (2) car garage, either attached or detached, can be located on said lot. <br />Parking Lot Dimensions Table* <br />Figure 903 -4 <br />* This table pertains to a wall to wall situation. In calculating dimensions, two (2) feet may be <br />subtracted from each stall depth for each overhang and overlap.
