RESOLUTION SUPPORTING APPLICATION TO <br />MNDNR LOCAL TRAIL CONNECTIONS PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City of Little Canada supports the grant application made to the Minnesota <br />Department of Natural Resources for the Local Trail Connections Program. The <br />application is to complete the Waterworks trail north of South Owasso Boulevard for the <br />Little Canada Recreational Trail System. The trail is located within the St Paul <br />Waterworks Utility Easement, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City of Little Canada recognizes the twenty -five (25) percent match requirement for <br />the Local Trail Connections Program, and has secured the matching funds. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED I3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OI' LITTLE <br />CANADA, MINNESOTA: <br />1. If the City of Little Canada is awarded a grant by the Minnesota Department of <br />Natural Resources, the City of Little Canada agrees to accept the grant award, and <br />may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above referenced <br />project. <br />2. The City of Little Canada will comply with all applicable laws, environmental <br />requirements, and regulations as stated in the grant agreement, and shall maintain <br />the trail section for a period no less than 20 years. <br />3.
