Manson <br />The Council of the City of Little Canada is seeking applicants to fill two vacancies on the <br />Little Canada Parks & Recreation Commission. The term of office is for approximately <br />16 months through December 31, 2007 and the other term is through December 31, 2009. <br />The Parks & Recreation Commission usually meets once a month on the first Thursday of <br />each month. The Commission also meets periodically for special meetings and <br />workshops. Members receive $20 for each meeting attended. The Parks & Recreation <br />Commission advises the City Council on matters relating to parks, park development, and <br />recreation within the City. For more specific information of Commission duties, please <br />contact the City Center. <br />All persons desiring to serve on the Parks & Recreation Commission are requested to <br />submit their own resumes on or before Thursday, August 17, 2006 to the City <br />Administrator, City of Little Canada, 515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117. <br />Applications will be considered at the August 23, 2006 City Council meeting. <br />Joel R.
