ADVANCED MASONRY
RESTORATION
QUALITY WORK BY QUALITY PEOPLE
September 22, 2006
Joel Hanson
City Administrator
City of Little Canada
515 Little Canada Road East
Little Canada, MN 55117
Re: Outdoor Storage
Request for Design Revision
Dear Joel:
We have reviewed the design for our fence location and find that if we locate the fence at
10 feet off of the south east corner of our building, as the Resolution requires that the
future southern dock location will be encroached upon and would render this dock
useless. The Resolution also requires landscaping ten feet wide in front of the fence.
We would like to make a change to the fence set back and locate it 5 feet off the south
east corner and also increase our landscaping to the west by an additional 30 feet to
include landscaping in front of our building. This will establish a ten foot setback from
the landscape curb at the corner of the building while allowing access to the future dock
opening. The additional 30 feet of landscaping will also give a better transition and
visual blend between the building and the fence. The total square footage of outdoor
storage would then be revised down to 3,000 square feet while staying within the
maximum 3,250 square foot requirement of the Resolution.
I apologize for having to come back to the City for another review but this situation was
not apparent at the time of the initial hearing. Thank you fur your consideration.
Sincerely,
Thomas Kromroy
2960 Yorkton Blvd. • Suite A • St. Paul, M i 1 17 • Ph 651 -766 -8080 651 -766 -8016
onry.com
www.advan( r..;n s
