MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 26, 2006 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006 -7 -767 — APPROVING A CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT ALLOWING OPEN AND OUTDOOR STORAGE AS <br />AN ACCESSORY USE FOR 2958/2960 YORKTON BLVD. AS <br />PROPOSED BY ADVANCED MASONRY RESTORATION AND <br />RETROFIT RECYCLING SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS OUTLINED IN <br />HIS REPORT DATED JULY 7, 2006 AND SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH ALL CODE REQUIREMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-7-168 — APPROVING A VARIANCE FOR <br />OPEN AND OUTDOOR STORAGE IN A SIDE YARD FOR 2958/2960 <br />YORKTON BLVD. BASED ON THE FOLLOWING: <br />*THE PROPERTYISA CORNER LOT WITHA UNIQUE <br />CONFIGURATION; <br />*ACKNOWLEDGING THAT REQUIRING THE OUTDOOR <br />STORAGE TO BE LOCATED AT THE NORTH END OF THE <br />BUILDING WOULD RESTRICT UNITED SCIENTIFIC'S <br />USE OF THE PROPERTY; <br />*ACKNOWLEDGING THAT A STRICT INTERPRETATION <br />OF THE CODE WOULD DEPRIVE THE PROPERTY OWNER <br />OF THE REASONABLE USE OF THE PROPERTY; <br />*REQUIRING THAT THE AMR OUTDOOR STORAGE AREA <br />BE OFFSET A MINIMUM OF TEN FEET FROM THE <br />FRONT OF THE BUILDING; <br />*RESTRICTING THE AMR OUTDOOR STORAGE AREA TO <br />A MAXIMUM OF 3,250 SQUARE FEET; <br />*REQUIRING THAT THE AMR OUTDOOR STORAGE AREA <br />BE ENCLOSED WITHIN A FENCED AND LANDSCAPED <br />AREA IN A MANNER THAT IS SATISFACTORY TO THE <br />CITY PLANNER <br />6 <br />8 <br />
