Summary and Recommendation
The Ordinance contains a provision for allowing outdoor storage uses in the I -P District.
The applicant appears to have met most conditions for approval, with the exception of
the location and area requirements.
The proposed location appears to the only feasible option for outdoor storage on the
site. The long, shallow lot limits the amount of space available in the rear yard,
eliminating the possibility of outdoor storage in this location. As such, a hardship
appears to exist with regard to the location, but not to size. Staff recommends approval
of the CUP and Variance for outdoor storage, subject to the conditions outlined above.
Pc: Joel Hanson
Kathy Glanzer ✓
Steve Westerhaus
Lee Elfering
Bob Murray, 810 East County Road D, Little Canada, MN 55117
Ward Sessing, Sessing Architects, 6 Pine Tree Dr, Arden Hills, MN 55112
