Hanson
www.ci.little-canada.mn.us
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council
FROM: Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk
DATE: December 13, 2006
RE: Rezoning, PUD Permit, Comprehensive Sign Plan
Frattalone Companies
As directed at the November 20th Council meeting, the minutes were researched relative
to original PUD approval for Frattalone Companies Rice Street/Spruce Street site as to
any traffic controls that might have been placed on the Rice Street access.
As you can see from the minutes attached, at their June 14, 2001 meeting the Planning
Commission recommended that the Rice Street access point be limited to right turn only
onto Rice Street. The Council had some discussion of this issue at their June 27, 2001
meeting, but tabled action until July 25, 2001. This limitation was not discussed at the
July 25th Workshop meeting nor July 25th Regular Council meeting.
Should the Council chose to place a traffic control limitation on the Rice Street access, it
can be made a condition of the Amendment to PUD Permit being considered at
Wednesday's meeting.
cc: Frank Frattalone
