NIGHT TO UNETC 2011 <br />E'ROCLAMAT(ON <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />10 1., <br />NIGHTtoUNIITEI! <br />Neighbors Joining Together <br />e' <br />WHERI2AS, the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association along with AAA of Minnesota / Iowa is sponsoring a <br />nationwide crime prevention program on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011 entitled "Night to Unite"; and <br />WHEREAS, the "Night to Unite" provides a unique opportunity for the City of Little Canada to join forces <br />with thousands of other communities across the country in promoting cooperative, police - community crime <br />prevention efforts; and <br />WHEREAS, Little Canada plays a vital role in assisting the Ramsey County Sheriffs Department through joint <br />crime prevention efforts in Little Canada and is supporting "Night to Unite" locally; and <br />WHEREAS, it is essential that all citizens of Little Canada be aware of the importance of crime prevention <br />programs and the impact that their participation can have on reducing crime in Little Canada; and <br />WHEREAS, police- community partnerships, neighborhood safety, awareness and cooperation are important <br />themes of the "Night to Unite" program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mayor Bill Blesener, and WE, Council Members, Shelly Boss, John Keis, Michael <br />McGraw, and Rick Montour, DO EIEREBY CALL UPON ALL CITIZENS OF LITTLF, CANADA, RAMSEY <br />COUNTY, to join the RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, , the MINNESOTA CRIME <br />PREVENTION ASSOCIATION AND AAA OF MINNESOTA / IOWA in supporting the "Night to Unite" on <br />August 2n', 2011. <br />FURTHER, LET ET BE RESOLVED THAT, I, Mayor 13i11 Blesener, and WE, Council Members, Shelly Boss, <br />John Keis, Michael McGraw,and Rick Montour do hereby proclaim Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011 as <br />"NIGHT TO UNITE" in Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />Mayor, 13111 Blesener <br />Council Member, Shelly Boss <br />Council Member, John Keis <br />Council Member, Michael McGraw <br />Council Member Rick Montour <br />
