By not waiving our statutory tort limits, we are telling the <br />League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust that any claims where statutory limits of <br />liability apply will be governed by those limits, i.e. $300,000 per person and $1 million <br />per occurrence. In cases where the statutory limits do not apply, we have $1 million of <br />liability coverage. <br />Staff would recommend continuing our practice of not waiving our statutory tort limits. <br />
