In order to <br />qualify for deferment, the amount of the special assessment must exceed one percent <br />(1 %) of the property owners' adjusted gross income. Staff has received copies of recent <br />Federal Tax Returns from these property owners, and have verified that they qualify for <br />deferment. <br />Staff recommends approval of the Deferment of Special Assessment as requested. <br />
