LITTLE CANADA REFUSE & RECYCLING SERVICE CONTRACT <br />THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this 20`h day of November, 2006, by and between <br />the CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, a municipal corporation in the County of Ramsey, herein referred to <br />as "City," and Allied Waste Services ofNorth America, a Minnesota corporation, Gene's Disposal, Inc., <br />a Minnesota corporation, Waste Management, Inc., a Minnesota corporation, and Bill Horrigan, dba <br />Horrigan Hauling, a Minnesota corporation, herein referred to collectively as "Contractor." <br />RECITALS: <br />WHEREAS, the City requires the collection and disposal of garbage and rubbish, yard waste, <br />and recyclables from residences in the City of Little Canada; <br />Whereas, the Contractor is a group of licensed haulers in the City of Little Canada engaged in <br />the business of collection and disposing of garbage and rubbish, yard waste, and recyclables; and <br />Whereas, the City desires to hire the services of the Contractor and the Contractor desires to <br />provide services to the City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between all parties: <br />I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, <br />and equipment necessary to make a complete collection of garbage and refuse from all <br />residences in the City of Little Canada at least once in each calendar week during the term of <br />this Contract, single sort recyclables once every two weeks, two sort recyclables for customers <br />of Gene's Disposal once every week and yard waste on a weekly basis from April 1st through <br />November 30th for those participating customers. Such collections shall include all residential <br />properties having two (2) or less dwelling units in a single building by use of individual <br />containers. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and facilities necessary to <br />fulfill the terms and conditions of this Contract. The Contractor shall provide said services in <br />compliance with all applicable laws and shall charge for said services on a volume -based <br />schedule. <br />2 <br />
