MINUTES <br />TEXT <br />AMENDMENT - <br />CUP FOR <br />SECOND <br />DRIVEWAY <br />ACCESS IN <br />R=1 DISTRICT <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 22, 2006 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 22nd day of <br />March, 2006 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City Planner <br />Cable TV Producer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Ms. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Ms. <br />Bill Blesener <br />Jim LaValle <br />Rick Montour <br />Barb Allan <br />John Keis <br />Joel R. Hanson <br />Tom Sweeney <br />Steve Grittman <br />Rusty Arntson <br />Kathy Glanzer <br />Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006 -3 -65 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE MARCH 8, 2006 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider a Text Amendment <br />to the Zoning Code creating a Conditional Use Permit for a second <br />driveway access for Single - Family Residential (R -1) properties. Blesener <br />noted that the City Planner has recommended against the Text <br />Amendment, but the Planning Commission recommended in favor subject <br />to a list of conditions that would have to be met to qualify for the CUP. <br />Blesener noted that if the Text Amendment is adopted, Mike and Heidi <br />Murphy are requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow <br />them to install a horseshoe driveway on their property at 601 County Road <br />B -2 East. <br />3 <br />
