She had the following to say about their e -mail update system:
• Very nice customer service to provide, but it also has several benefits for the city such as savings on postage, paper
costs, etc.
• Not very time consuming since the residents are just e- mailed a link to the web site where they can get more
information.
• Customers manage their own accounts and can delete themselves from the service at any time.
• Their most popular topics are 1) Agendas /Minutes 2) What's New in the City (kind of a mini - newsletter) 3) Parks &
Rec Information 4) Community Center Information
She commented that she really liked the appearance of our web site and asked how we like Govoffice. I told her we are in
the process of improving our web site. She was surprised to find out how inexpensive Govoffice costs. They are very
interested in switching to Govoffice since now they have a team of experts using an Adobe product to create their web site
and sometimes changes can affect the whole site throwing it off. She was very surprised to hear that Govoffice has an e-
mail update option. They are currently paying extra for the service they are using.
Kristin Pechman
Administrative Assistant
City of Little Canada
www.ci.little-canada.mn.us
651- 766 -4038
651- 766 -4048 fax
-14-
