Incident Report 05033155
Ramsey County Sheriffs Department Printed: 01/26/06 09:53 AM
Narrative
1 Vang, Yao, 10/25/84 (21), 2526 Margaret Street, No. St. Paul, MN 55109,
2 H)651- 779 -7646, A/M.
3
4 On Saturday evening, December 10th, 2005, at approximately 6:05pm, Ramsey County
5 Deputies Glenn Pothen, Kevin Otto, and myself were conducting Alcohol
6 Compliance Checks in the city of Little Canada. We were assisted by two 20 Y/O
7 male underage buyers, JMS & MWB.
8
9 At this time I was with buyer JMS and I sent him into the Tierney's Liquor Store
10 at 2760 Rice Street to attempt to purchase alcohol without ID. I had given him
11 a twenty dollar bill to use for the purchase. JMS went in and selected a
12 twelve can pack of Heiniken Beer and brought it to the sales counter. There was
13 only one clerk present, a young Asain male, later identified by Minnesota
14 Drivers License as Vang, and so JMS was helped and he then left the store. JMS
15 came directly to me and gave me the beer and cash change from the sale. I then
16
17
18
19
20
21
took the beer and change back into the store.
I went to the sales counter, identified myself and asked to speak to a manager.
Vang told me that no manager was there at that time. Vang also said that his
uncle (Chou Vang) was the owner. I then informed Vang that he had just sold
alcohol to an underage buyer. He had no response. I asked Vang if he asked the
Reporting Officer: Deputy T. Johnson (10638/510) Page 4of5
