MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JUNE 8, 2006 <br />Sculley stated that he understands this is in the concept stage. He just <br />wanted to go on record as stating that he does not want any more run -off <br />onto his land. Sculley indicated that his property used to be cultivated, but <br />now cannot be used because of the engineering from surrounding <br />development. <br />Duray felt the area must be watched closely as this project moves forward. <br />He encouraged the residents to attend all meetings on this proposed <br />development and continue to offer their input. <br />Knudsen again indicated that this is just a concept review at this point. <br />Knudsen indicated that if problems can be resolved, it was his feeling that <br />the proposed development would have merit. <br />Rheaume agreed that the concerns voiced this evening by surrounding <br />property owners will have to be resolved as part of the planning process <br />before this development can proceed. <br />Barraclough recommended approval of the Concept Subdivision <br />consisting of up to ten single - family lots as proposed by Mr. Pat Johnson <br />for property located at 3032, 3040, and 3046 LaBore Road subject to <br />resolution of concerns voiced this evening by surrounding property <br />owners, and subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City <br />Planner as outlined in his report dated June 5, 2006. <br />Motion seconded by Knudsen. <br />Motion carried 7 — 0. <br />PUD Mr. Jerry Schultz, All American Recreation, 2940 Rice Street, appeared <br />PERMIT & before the Commission requesting approval of a Planned Unit <br />CUP FOR Development Permit allowing indoor sales and display of small <br />MOTOR motorcycles (up to 500 cc's), ATV's, and scooters as well as a <br />VEHICLE Conditional Use Permit allowing a retail motor vehicles sales license <br />SALES — (indoor only). <br />2940 RICE <br />STREET — Duray asked where within the building would these vehicles be <br />ALL displayed. Schultz reported that All American may be getting out of <br />AMERICAN the spa business and would replace the spas with these vehicles. Duray <br />RECREATION asked about repairs and service. Schultz reported that repairs and <br />servicing would be done out of their Eagan warehouse. All American may <br />even subcontract out this service. <br />1.0 <br />
