Hanson <br />cw,vw, ci.little- canada. mn. us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />DATE: January 6, 2006 <br />RE: Renewal of Gambling License & Premises Permits <br />License Period — April 1, 2006 through March 31, 2008 <br />As you are aware, Canadian Days operates pull -tab sites at Brady's on Rice Street and <br />Saxon Lanes. Additionally, they conduct off -site gambling (pull -tabs) at Spooner Park <br />during the Canadian Days Celebration. <br />The Canadian Days Committee has applied for renewal of their Gambling License as <br />well as Premises Permits for their pull tab sites for the license period noted above. <br />Application materials are in order; however, lease agreements are pending for signature <br />by the landlords at Brady's and Saxon. These signed documents should be submitted to <br />the City very shortly. <br />City staff recommends renewal of Gambling License and Premises Permits for Canadian <br />Days as requested subject to receipt of signed lease agreements. <br />1 <br />
