All of these changes have <br />occurred since the contract signing. The truck committee has traveled to Pierce and after an inspection <br />is recommending the attached changes. <br />The higher dollar amount items are <br />1. Stainless steel plumbing $ 1,975. In past vehicles this option would have saved use thousands in <br />maintenance costs. <br />2. Additional emergency lighting $ 1,420. After our last inspection trip we found the emergency <br />lighting to be inadequate. <br />3. Additional reflective lettering and striping $ 1,329. Better visibility for oncoming vehicles. <br />The additional cost for these items is $ 4,598 <br />The truck was completed in 230 days. The interest deduction was based on 255 days, so an additional <br />$ 66 was added on. <br />The total additional cost of the truck is $ 4,664 <br />
