Community Building Technical Advisory CommitteeMeeting Minutes <br />Meeting #2 July 17, 2025 <br />Public Works Building <br />Agenda <br />Advisory Committee Present: Steve Anderson, Amanda Guiterrez, Shawn Hipp, Ron Horwath, <br />Emelie Lindabaur, Laura Linehan, Curt Loschy, Dave Miller, Maggie DeLong Miller, Monika Miller, <br />Jason Owens, Jordan Ruplinger, Bryce Shearen, Kate Williams <br />Absent: Derek Anderson, Asa Posner <br />Public Comment <br />Online comments from the Community Building Feedback Form were shared. <br />Welcome <br />Meeting was called to order at 6:04pm. All members introduced themselves and shared their <br />connection to the TAC. <br />Ideas to encourage engagement were discussed. Business cards and yard signs with QR code to <br />the feedback form are in the works. Information will be shared with the community at the Ice <br />Cream Social and Saturday of Canadian Days. <br />Finalize Core Purposes <br />bĺώċŪŘťēôŘώċôôîæÍèħώſÍŜώČĖŽôIJώĺIJώťēôώîŘÍċťώèĺŘôώŕŪŘŕĺŜôŜϟώ“ώîôèĖîôîώťĺώƱIJÍīĖƏôώèĺŘôώŕŪŘŕĺŜôŜϟώ <br />Core purposes can be changed, if necessary, in the future. <br />Site Tour <br />The TAC visited the proposed community building site located between Pioneer Park and the Little <br />Canada Public Works Building. The site currently has a home, storage building and trucks on the <br />property. The agreement made with the owner states they are allowed to stay throughout 2025. <br />The TAC walked through the property to get a feel for the site. <br />TAC Recessed at 6:54pm. <br />TACReconvenes at 7:00pm. <br />Function and Use Brainstorming Exercise <br />Presentation <br />Steve A shares a presentation of common functions and uses of community buildings <br />Uses include <br />x Public and private meetings and gatherings <br />x Recreation programs <br />x Social services <br />80
