Little Canada Technical Advisory Committee Meeting <br />Thursday, October 9 <br />Little Canada City Hall <br />Members Present: Steve Anderson, Amanda Guiterrez, Shawn Hipp, Ron Horwath, Emelie <br />Lindabaur, Dave Miller, Maggie DeLong Miller, Monika Miller, Jason Owens, Asa Posner, <br />Jordan Ruplinger, Kate Williams <br />Members Absent:Derek Anderson, Laura Linehan, Curt Loschy, Bryce Shearen <br />Meeting was called to order by Steve A at 6:02pm. <br />Steve A shared the next steps in the community building process. This would include Parks <br />and Recreation Commission support, ÍIJîϙťēôϙƱIJÍīϙŘôŕĺŘťϙŜēÍŘôîϙſĖťēϙťēôϙĖťƅϙĺŪIJèĖīϙĖIJϙ <br />November. With council approval, the next steps would be design and engineering in 2026. <br />‹ťôŽôϙϙŜēÍŘôîϙťēôϙîŘÍċťϙĺċϙťēôϙ“ϙƱIJÍīϙŘôŕĺŘťϙſĖťēϙťēôϙèĺııĖťťôôϟϙFôϙŜēÍŘôîϙťēôϙŜťŘŪèťŪŘôϙ <br />of the report and made note that the graphics have yet to be added. <br />TAC members spent time reading over the draft report and shared their feedback. <br />TAC members discussed the suggestion from Mayor Tom Fischer to omit the word <br />“construction” from the mission statement since that is outside of the scope of the TAC. <br />Members agreed to the removal of the word "construction”. <br />“ϙıôıæôŘŜϙŜēÍŘôîϙŜŕôèĖƱèϙċôôîæÍèħϙŘôČÍŘîĖIJČϙťēôϙŘôŕĺŘťϟϙ‹ŪČČôŜťĖĺIJϙťĺϙÍîîϠϙıÍĖIJťÍĖIJϙ <br />ťēôϙŽôČôťÍťĖĺIJϙæŪƯôŘϙĺIJϙôIJťôŘŽĖīīôϙ‡îϙæŪťϙôIJŜŪŘôϙťēôϙæŪĖīîĖIJČϙĖŜϙŽĖŜĖæīôϙċŘĺıϙťēôϙŘĺÍîϙĖIJϙÍIJϙ <br />ôƯĺŘťϙťĺϙæīĺèħϙĺŪťϙIJĺĖŜôϙÍIJîϙīĖČēťϙŕĺīīŪťĖĺIJϙċĺŘϙťēôϙIJôĖČēæĺŘŜϟϙ“ēĖŜϙſĺŪīd help minimize <br />commercial disruption to the neighborhood. The TAC decided to switch the <br />wording from “large windows” to design features to optimize natural light and views. <br />The TAC went through the report page by page to discuss grammar and wording errors and <br />recommendations. <br />The TAC discussed the design imperatives for this project. They determined what features <br />are the most important to this project and are non-negotiables throughout the project.
