The formula to calculate is as follows: <br /> <br />Assessed Market Home Value X Tax Rate = City portion of Property Taxes <br /> <br />To better understand how the 2026 budget will impact Little Canada residents, staff prepared the <br />following residential single home property tax change analysis. The below tables present a 10.95% <br />levy increase impact to single home residential properties as well as Commercial/Industrial <br />Properties. A medium home valued at $394,683 will experience approximately $83.80 increase, <br />whereas a commercial property valued at $747,600 will experience a $67.60 increase. <br /> <br />Note: Highlighted in yellow in the first table is the median single-family home value in the City <br />of Little Canada, according to the Ramsey County Assessor’s Office. Additionally, Property <br />Market Values are established by the County Assessor and not by the City. The data maps below <br />show the current values and percentage increases for median single-family and median all <br />commercial properties in the City of Little Canada, as provided by the County Assessor’s Office <br />and used in the analysis tables below. <br />
