5. No customers or patrons shall be allowed to enter or remain on the licensed premises after <br />9:00 p.m. or before 8:00 a.m. daily. <br /> <br />6. No beer, liquor, narcotic drug or controlled substance, as such terms are defined by State <br />statutes or the City Code, shall be permitted on licensed premises. <br /> <br />7. Violation of any law or regulation relating to building, safety or health, shall be grounds <br />for revocation of any license. <br /> <br />8. There shall be no locks on doors of massage or complementary and alternative health care <br />practice rooms. <br /> <br />9. No part of the licensed premises shall be used for or connected with any bedroom or <br />sleeping quarters. No person shall sleep within the licensed premises except for a limited period incidental <br />to and directly related to the provision of massage therapy or complementary and alternative health care <br />services. No beds, mattresses, water mattresses, cots, or other such equipment designed or commonly used <br />for sleeping shall be permitted on the premises. This provision does not apply to massage tables used for <br />treatment purposes. <br /> <br />10. Whenever a massage or complementary and alternative health care practice is given, it <br />shall be required by the massage therapist or complementary and alternative health care practitioner that <br />the person who is receiving the massage shall have her breasts and his/her buttocks and genitals covered by <br />a nontransparent material. <br /> <br />11. Any massage therapists or complementary and alternative health care practitioners <br />performing any massages or complementary and alternative health care practice shall at all times have her <br />breasts and his/her buttocks and genitals covered with a nontransparent material. <br /> <br />2202.070. VIOLATIONS, PENALTY. Every person or entity who violates this ordinance is guilty <br />of a misdemeanor. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby repeals Chapter 2203 of the <br />Little Canada Municipal Code in its entirety. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby enacts Chapter 2203 of the <br />Little Canada Municipal Code by adding the underlined material as follows: <br /> <br />2203. MASSAGE THERAPY AND COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE HEALTH CARE <br />PRACTICES AS A PRINCIPAL USE. <br /> <br />2203.005 PURPOSE <br />The purpose of this Section is to regulate massage and other complementary and alternative health <br />care practices when operating as a principal use within the City. These regulations are intended to <br />protect public health, safety, and welfare; safeguard client safety and privacy; prevent illicit or non- <br />therapeutic activities; and ensure that massage services are provided in a safe, sanitary, and <br />professional environment consistent with legitimate therapeutic objectives. <br /> <br />2203.010.
