<br /> 2203-2 <br />rooms wherein a person may receive a massage from a " Complementary and alternative health care <br />practitioner " for a fee. <br /> <br /> <br />2203.020. LICENSE FOR MASSAGE THERAPY OR COMPLEMENTARY AND <br />ALTERNATIVE HEALTH CARE PRACTICES AS A PRINCIPAL USE. <br /> <br /> 1. No person, partnership, or corporation shall engage in a business, which has massage <br />therapy or any complementary and alternative health care practice as a principal use, without being <br />licensed as provided in this Chapter. <br /> <br /> 2. The initial application for a license by a business shall be made by completing an <br />application form provided by and containing such information as required by the City and by paying <br />a one-time non-refundable initial application fee as established by City Council resolution. <br /> <br /> 3. If the application for a license under this Chapter is granted, the fee above shall be the <br />first year’s license fee. Thereafter, the license fee shall be as established by City Council resolution. <br /> A separate license shall be obtained for each place of business. <br /> <br />2203.030. GRANTING, DENYING AND RESCINDING OF LICENSES FOR MASSAGE <br />THERAPY OR COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE HEALTH CARE PRACTICES AS A <br />PRINCIPAL USE. <br /> <br />1. The provisions of Section 2202.030 of the Little Canada City Code shall apply to a <br />license for massage therapy or any complementary and alternative health care practice as a principal <br />use. The City will issue up to three licenses for massage therapy as a principal use within the City of <br />Little Canada. There shall be no limit on the number of business licenses issued for complementary <br />and alternative health care practices; however, any advertisement, representation, or performance of <br />massage therapy services by a business or practitioner licensed solely for complementary and <br />alternative health care practices shall constitute a violation of this Chapter, and the City may revoke <br />such license. The business may thereafter only reapply for licensure as a massage therapy <br />establishment, subject to all applicable education, licensing, and numerical cap requirements <br /> <br />2. A license for massage therapy or any complementary and alternative health care <br />practice business license as a principal use shall be reviewed annually. No license approved by the <br />City grants the licensee a property right or entitlement to a license. The City Council may refuse to <br />issue, refuse to renew, or may suspend or revoke a license for any reason, and the City will not incur <br />liability for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, consequential, or incidental damages, <br />deprivation of property, loss of income, loss of profits, or loss of livelihood. <br /> <br />2203.040. MASSAGE THERAPY AND COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE <br />HEALTH CARE PRACTICES ONLY BY LICENSED PERSONS. No person shall provide <br />massage therapy or any complementary and alternative health care practice as a principal use <br />without being licensed individually as provided in Section 2202.040 of the Little Canada City Code. <br /> All persons licensed for massage therapy or any complementary and alternative health care practice
