(2) The applicant has been convicted within the past five years of any violation of a <br />federal, state, or local law, ordinance provision, or other regulation relating to <br />cannabinoid products or cannabinoid-related devices. <br />(3) The applicant has had a license or retail registration to sell cannabinoid products <br />or cannabinoid-related devices revoked within the preceding 12 months of the <br />date of application. <br />(4) The applicant fails to provide any information required on the application, or <br />provides false or misleading information. <br />(5) The applicant is prohibited by federal, state, or other local law, ordinance, or <br />other regulation from holding a license retail registration. <br />(6) The applicant does not have a pending or approved Minnesota Office of <br />Cannabis Management Lower-potency hemp edible retailers license <br />(b) Except as may otherwise be provided by law, the existence of any particular grounds for <br />denial does not mean that the city must deny the license retail registration. <br />(c) If a license retail registration is mistakenly issued or renewed to a person, it shall be revoked <br />upon the discovery that the person was ineligible for the license retail registration under this <br />section. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby amends Little Canada City <br />Code Section 826.45. Prohibited sales as follows: <br /> <br />826.45 PROHIBITED SALES. It shall be a violation of this section for any person to sell or <br />offer to sell any cannabinoid products or cannabinoid-related devices: <br /> <br />(a) To any person under the age of 21 years. <br />(b) By means of any type of vending machine. <br />(c) By means of self-service methods whereby the customer does not need to a make a <br />verbal or written request to an employee of the licensed registered premises in order <br />to receive the cannabinoid products or cannabinoid-related devices and whereby <br />there is not a physical exchange of the cannabinoid products or cannabinoid-related <br />devices between the licensee registrant, or the licensee’s registrant’s employee, and <br />the customer, other than products that are intended to be consumed as a beverage. <br />(d) By means of loosies. <br />(e) By any other means, to any other person, on in any other manner or form prohibited <br />by federal, state or other local law, ordinance provision, or other regulation. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby amends Little Canada City <br />Code Section 826.50. Self-service sales as follows: <br /> <br />826.50 SELF-SERVICE SALES. It is unlawful for a licensee registrant under this section to <br />allow the sale of cannabinoid products or cannabinoid-related devices, other than products that are <br />intended to be consumed as a beverage, by any means whereby the customer may have access to <br />those items without having to request the item from the licensee registrant or the licensee’s <br />registrant’s employee and whereby there is not a physical exchange of the cannabinoid products or <br />cannabinoid-related devices between the licensee registrant or their clerk and the customer.
