Staff Report <br />To:Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br />From:Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager <br />Date: December 17, 2025 <br />Re:Accept Resignation of Sam Magureanu <br />Action To Be Considered: <br />Motion to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />Accept the resignation of full-time Finance Director Sam Magureanu, and authorize <br />posting of the Finance Director position immediately. <br />Background: <br />Sam Magureanu started with the city in June 2022 and has been a great asset in the Finance <br />Department. He has submitted his letter of resignation of full-time employment effective <br />January 20, 2025. He will be helping out on a limited basis in the interim to help keep up on <br />certain monthly duties and preparation for the annual audit. <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />Staff recommends the Council accept the letter of resignation from Sam Magureanu effective <br />January 20, 2025, and authorize posting of the Finance Director position.
