STAFF REPORT <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />DATE: <br />RE: <br />Mayor Fischer and Members of City Council <br />Sam Magureanu, Finance Director <br />December 17, 2025 <br />Designate the Authority to Make Electronic Funds Transfers <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Pursuant to State Statute 471.38, subd. 3 et seq, the City Council is respectfully being asked to delegate <br />the authority to make electronic funds transfers for 2026. Based upon past practice as well as current <br />practice, it is recommended that the following individuals be designated to make electronic funds <br />transfers for the City of Little Canada for 2026: <br />Samuel Magureanu <br />Bryce Shearen <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />Designation of the authority to make electronic funds transfers helps to ensure compliance with MN State <br />Statute. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Make a motion to designate the following individuals the authority to make electronic funds transfers for <br />2026: <br />Samuel Magureanu <br />Bryce Shearen <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />1)Resolution to Designate the Authority to Make Electronic Funds Transfers.
