71 <br /> <br />City of Little Canada Personnel Policy <br /> SECTION 28 - WORKERS' COMPENSATION <br /> <br />Workers' Compensation insurance provides compensation to employees who have a work-related <br />injury or disease. The compensation includes partial wage replacement and full payment of reasonable <br />medical and rehabilitation costs. In case of death, workers' compensation benefits are paid to the <br />employee's dependents. <br /> <br />Workers' Compensation Procedures: <br /> <br />1. All injuries must be reported to the employee's immediate supervisor within 72 hours of <br />the injury. A supervisor's accident report form must be filed. <br /> <br />2. Employees or their representatives must report serious injuries/death within 24 hours of <br />occurrence to the City Administrator. Other injuries that require the employee to miss <br />three calendar days must be reported to the insurance company within ten days. <br /> <br />
