Program Area General Description Title VI/Non-Discrimination <br />Concerns and Responsibilities <br />Review Procedures for Ensuring <br />Non-Discrimination <br />Planning Short-term and long-term planning of <br />transportation projects <br />Using equity-based analysis as part of <br />planning process. <br /> <br />Ensuring comprehensive public <br />participation to meet environmental <br />justice requirements. <br /> <br />Collecting demographic data from <br />public engagement activities regarding <br />demographics of public participants. <br /> <br />Providing language access as <br />needed. <br />City will review planning decisions <br />through equity lens to ensure <br />nondiscrimination. <br /> <br />City will review public engagement <br />activities periodically to determine <br />whether engagement opportunities <br />were offered to all communities. <br /> <br />City will be documenting language <br />access requests. <br /> <br />Ensure transparency and availability <br />of City of Little Canada Capital <br />Improvement Plan <br />Public <br />Engagement <br />Coordinates public engagement <br />activities for planning and project <br />development, as well as relationship- <br />building engagement activities. <br />Comprehensive public participation to <br />meet environmental justice requires. <br /> <br />Collecting demographic data from <br />public engagement activities regarding <br />demographics of public participants. <br /> <br />Providing language access as <br />needed. <br /> <br />Disseminating Title VI information to <br />the public to ensure they are aware of <br />their rights to be free from <br />discrimination. <br /> <br />City will review public engagement <br />activities periodically to determine <br />whether engagement opportunities <br />were offered to all communities. <br /> <br />City will post a copy of its Title VI <br />policy on its website, public notice <br />board and at public buildings. <br />
