Staff Report <br />To:Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br />From:Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager <br />Date: January 28, 2026 <br />Re:2026 Pay Equity Report Submittal <br />Action To Be Considered: <br />Motion to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />ď‚·Submission of the City of Little Canada Pay Equity report to the State of Minnesota <br />Background: <br />Attached is a copy of the Pay Equity Implementation Report that the City is required to submit to <br />the State of Minnesota by January 31, 2026. Upon receipt of this information, the State will <br />conduct statistical analysis to determine if the City is in compliance with pay equity regulations. <br />The results of their compliance review will be forwarded to the City as soon as it is completed. <br />The City is required to submit this report every 3 years, and the Little Canada has been in <br />compliance since at least 1995. <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />Staff recommends Council approve submission of the 2026 Pay Equity Report to the State of <br />Minnesota as required.
