Program Coordinator <br />(651) 766 -4042 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Biesener and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Brad Volk, Park Maintenance Supervisor <br />DATE: January 20, 2005 <br />RE: Tree Removal Work <br />In an effort to ensure that the City of Little Canada is receiving competitive pricing for <br />2005 tree removal work, quotation requests were sent to six local tree contractors. Three <br />contractors responded, and copies of their proposals are attached. <br />Based on my review of these quotations, Precision Landscape and Tree offers all the <br />service options in our quotation request as well as are the lowest in cost. An added <br />benefit is that Precision Tree is a Little Canada business; therefore, we should receive a <br />more prompt service from them. As a result, I recommend approval of Precision Tree's <br />quote for 2005 tree removal work. <br />Should you have any questions prior to Wednesday's meeting, please Feel free to call me <br />at 766 -4056. <br />
