Hanson <br />For the past four years, the City has held a town meeting during the first part of April. As <br />you are aware, attendance at the town meeting has been very light. There has been some <br />discussion as to the value of continuing to hold a town meeting on an annual basis. Staff <br />recommends that the Council review the effectiveness of this practice. If the consensus is <br />to have a town meeting in 2005, then [ would recommend that we schedule the date so <br />that staff can begin planning for this event. (April 16°i may be a good option.) <br />
