Mathern reported that <br />there will he landscaping around the base of the monument sign with <br />external lighting shining on that sign. <br />Durav recommended approval of the PUD Permit for Comprehensive Si__m <br />Plan for Market Square Town Offices subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in his report dated <br />February 8, 2005, and with the indication that Architectural Guidelines <br />should be followed for all new development. <br />Motion seconded by Weihe. <br />Motion carried 6 I. Wojcik voted against. <br />Michael Huber, Michael Huber Architects, appeared before the <br />Commission requesting approval of a Property Division and Lot <br />Combination as well as a Conditional Use Permit to allow a regional <br />government building in the Public Zoning District. The property in <br />question is the City -owned lot on Noel Drive. Huber reported that <br />the Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District is proposing to <br />construct a 5,500 square foot office building and a 1.000 square foot <br />garage building on the site. Huber described the building which will <br />be a one -level facility. He also described the natural landscaping that <br />will be used on the site as well as their goal to nlitikuare run -off from the <br />site as well as take additional run -off From Noel Drive. Huber reported <br />that he has reviewed the City Planner's report and they are agreeable with <br />all the recommendations except the requirement that financial security be <br />provided to ensure landscape maintenance. <br />Knudsen noted the Planner's recommendation to limit the outdoor storage <br />to two pickup trucks. Knudsen asked what will happen if the Watershed <br />purchases another vehicle.
