Attachment B <br />903. GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />903.110. SIGNS. <br />B. Permitted and Prohibited Signs. <br />1. Permitted Signs. The following signs are allowed without a permit, but shall <br />comply with all other applicable provisions of this Ordinance: <br />i. Advcrtising/Promotional Banners. Team Sponsorship. <br />Each business in a commercial or industrial zoning district <br />(B W, B -1, B -2, B -3, B 4, B I, I 1, I 2, I P) and lawful <br />commercial uses within the PUD district shall be allowed one <br />(1) banner not exceeding 40 32 square feet in area that must <br />be affixed to the building or mounted on an existing, double - <br />post pylon sign. Banners displayed under this section of the <br />code are to used for the sole purpose of sponsoring a team or <br />recreation league at a liquor establishment, not liquor <br />sales /specials. Said banner must be maintained in an <br />aesthetically pleasing manner for the entire time being <br />displayed and shall be free of tears, fraying, or fading when <br />viewed from the and may not impair visibility upon a public <br />right -of -way. Any banner not complying with these <br />provisions shall be considered a temporary sign. <br />C. General Provisions. <br />4. a.1. Temporary use of portable signs, banners not meeting the provisions <br />f B.1.i., pennants, window signs in excess of that established below, <br />and similar devices shall require a permit pursuant to Section <br />903.110.F. of this ordinance. In the case of single tenant buildings, a <br />permit shall not be issued for more than thirty (30) days nor shall a <br />permit be issued within thirty (30) days from the termination date of <br />a prior permit. In no case shall permits exceed three (3) in a calendar <br />year or a total of sixty (60) days in a calendar year. In the case of <br />multi - tenant properties, a permit shall not be issued for more than <br />thirty (30) days. In no case shall permits exceed three (3) in a <br />calendar year per tenant, or a total of sixty (60) days in a calendar <br />year per tenant. Further, no more than two (2) tenants, or 50% of the <br />tenants at one time, may possess temporary sign permits at the same <br />time.
