/lcf le ^74- <br />Co } mittees <br />To get the most out of your Chamber investment means getting involved. You will make more contacts, <br />do more business, develop more friendships and attract more employees. The Twin Cities North <br />Chamber has approximately 150 people whom take an extra hour or two each month to volunteer. Be a <br />part of this dedicated group today by becoming involved in your chamber. <br />C. Board of Directors — This governing body of the chamber meets once a month to determine the <br />policies and strategic direction. Members are elected and serve three -year terms. <br />C. Breakfast Club — Meets two mornings each month and serves as a lead generating networking group. <br />Each session will feature one of the members as the keynote speaker. <br />C. Business /Education Partnership — Encourages communication between the business community <br />and the schools, host the high school Career Jam and provides scholarships. This committee meets <br />monthly from September through May. <br />C. Charitable Giving Committee — Researches and makes the decisions on which charitable <br />organizations will receive funds from the chamber. <br />C. Gala Task Force — Plans/hosts the chamber's annual fund - raising dinner event. This is a short -term <br />commitment and the group determines the meeting schedule. <br />• Gaining Oversight Committee — Analyzes the Chamber fiscal operation of the two gaming sites. <br />C. Golf Tournament /Golf Outing — Hosts the "Chamber Challenge" in the spring and the "Nine is <br />Fine" golf outing in the fall. The group determines the meeting schedule. <br />C. Public Policy Task Force — Identifies and studies legislative issues affecting our business <br />community. They propose positions, take necessary action and provide a forum for communication <br />between governmental entities and area businesses. They meet monthly. <br />Marketing / Public Relations Committee — Assist in the marketing, communication and promotion <br />of the Chamber. Insure our publications and communications have a uniform, professional look. <br />• Meet & Greet —Attends ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings and grand opening celebrations for area <br />businesses, serves as a networking group and hosts chamber - networking events. <br />Please call the chamber office today with any questions you may have or to discuss which task force <br />will best serve the interests of you and your company. <br />
