Manson <br />www.ci.little-canada.mn.us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />DATE: July 22, 2005 <br />RE: <br />Tobacco License — Marco Tobacco <br />2616 Rice Street <br />Omar Ahmad Abdallah has applied for a Tobacco License in order to take over the <br />operation of the tobacco shop, Tobacco Hut, located at 2616 Rice Street. The current <br />owner of Tobacco Hut recently had his sales -tax permit revoked by the MN Department <br />of Revenue (see article attached). <br />Mr. Abdallah had paid the $200 license fee for a tobacco license. A satisfactory Sheriff's <br />Department Background Check was processed on Mr. Abdallah. <br />Staff recommends approval of the Tobacco License for Mr. Omar Abdallah. <br />
