Memo <br />[LFERIHG C.aSSOa1ATES <br />TO: Mayor Blesener & Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br />DATE: December 9, 2005 <br />RE: Restoration Invoices <br />Carla Lane <br />Quotes were received for the restoration work associated with the Carla Lane street <br />reconstruction project earlier this summer with Twin City Hydro Seeding, Inc. providing <br />the lowest bid received based on unit prices. They have since completed the restoration <br />work and provided two invoices for payment. The first invoice is for grading of the Keller <br />Pkwy ditch and restoration necessary along Keller Pkwy as a result of the water service <br />installations for $8,700.25. The second invoice is for the restoration of all disturbed <br />areas along Carla Lane for $21,675.83. The work completed on both areas included <br />furnishing and installing top soil and seed and erosion blanket as necessary. All work <br />completed is warranted and would be reseeded next year if areas do not establish. <br />Our field inspector has verified the quantities used in each of the two areas. Therefore, <br />we would recommend payment of both invoices to Twin City Hydro Seeding, Inc.
